Romeo and Juliet (2023)

Performed at Abron’s Art Center in the Underground Theater.

Set in a postmodern society, William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet tells the story of bitter enemies and the subsequent reconciliation that only a star-crossed romance can offer. The children of rival factions, the Montagues and the Capulets, young Romeo and Juliet spark a forbidden romance at a chance meeting. Their short-lived but passionate courtship and marriage sets in motion the events that will forever alter the course of their society, families, and the relationships that surround them.

Regarded as one of the greatest love stories ever written, "Romeo and Juliet" features characters and language as indelible as its author. Bear witness to the danger, glamour, and rhetoric that make this timeless play immortal.
